FAQ

Where are you located?

I work primarily from my home in West Deptford, NJ, and I utilize Zoom Video Communications for remote conferencing. Zoom combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration – and it is so easy to use.

The usage of Zoom requires an Internet connection, camera, and microphone on your end. There are no fees associated with using Zoom, so you pay nothing to join a video conference with me.

Additionally, I travel to various company locations as needed to consult with leaders of organizations, who utilize my services. One-on-one behavioral consultations are done on location, by phone, or Zoom at the company’s request.

For those clients, who want to meet in person for a consultation, I have office space located in Cherry Hill, NJ.

What are your hours?

My office hours are by appointment.

How long are the sessions?

Sessions for personal consultations are generally 60 minutes. However, depending on the situation, we may agree to spend more time as needed.

Sessions with organizations vary per project, depending on the needs and the project size and scope.

How much do you charge?

Individual consultation sessions are $125/hour. I accept cash, checks, and payment via PayPal.

Pricing for organizations varies depending on the project size, scope, and materials required.

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not accept insurance. I have no plans to do so.

How do I set up an initial appointment?

You can complete the contact form on the Website, email me directly at eileenjaosn@artaconsulting.com, or call me directly at (856) 506-5159.

If I do not answer right away, chances are I am with a client. I always return calls by the end of the business day. If you call after hours, I immediately respond to you the next day.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions that not cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the full session rate.

What are the age ranges with whom you work?

I work primarily with adults. However, for grief counseling, I do work with children and adolescents.

Do you work with women? Men? Couples? Same-sex couples?

I work with individual men and women for both personal consultations as well as with organizations.

However, I specialize in helping professional women over 35 who are constantly on edge with the amount of stress they have to endure and desire to feel empowered and be recognized for their talents.

What do you do in sessions with clients?

Each consultation session is customized to accommodate and meet the individual’s needs.

Generally, the first couple of sessions are all about getting to know you. In particular, I want to understand in detail the reason that you are seeking therapy.

As discussions continue, I may suggest assessments or provide assignments for you to work on in between sessions.

For organizations, sessions are also customized specifically to the scope of the project and needs of the company.

Do your clients receive assignments to work on in between sessions?

Generally, yes. I also often provide reading materials for reinforcement, and we discuss assignments and materials in future sessions.

What is your training and experience?

Without a doubt, I have been in training all of my life to help people.

Technically, however, I have a Ph.D. in Psychology and 20+ years experience in corporate America, where I worked in various behavioral capacities.

I am also a post-graduate certified grief counselor from the American Institute of Health Care Professionals.

What else does a client need to know to make the most out of working with you?

The most important thing anyone can do to make the most out of our work together is to be honest with yourself. I also ask that you be open-minded to different types of strategies designed to aid in healing.

Is that good or bad?

When behavioral assessments are used to help understand specific behaviors, I almost always get this question. My answer is always, “It’s neither; it is what it is.”

Understanding behavioral tendencies can only help you move forward!
