Executive Conflict Resolution
The loss of a loved one is so very painful. Normal grief encompasses a broad range of feelings and behaviors that are common after a loss. Are you experiencing any or all of the following:
1. Bodily distress of some type
2. Preoccupation with the image of the deceased
3. Guilt relating to the deceased or circumstances of the death
4. Hostile reactions
5. The inability to function as you did before the loss
All of these reactions are normal when you experience the death of a loved one. Additionally, grief can cause you to experience the following:
If you've experienced death of a husband, wife, significant other, parent, grandparent, child, or other family member - including our furry friends - or any loved one, it can feel as though you are in a dark hole, trying desperately to climb out.
I too have experienced grief; many times - and I've even written about it. I know what it's like to not want to get out of bed in the morning, or go to work, or get through a single day. It can be an overwhelming experience.
There is no wrong way to grieve and it takes as long as it needs to move forward. You never get "over" a loved - and why would you want to? They are always going to be with you and have a very special place in your heart!
I will work with you for as long as you need to get through the grieving process. I offer sessions in person, via telephone, over the Internet, or via Skype.
